Dr Carletti graduated from the University of Brescia, Italy, with a degree in Medicine and Surgery, and completed his training in radiology and neuroradiology with honours in Italy. He received a PhD in Neuroimaging from King's College London.
He is a consultant in diagnostic neuroradiology at the National Hospital for Neurology and Neurosurgery (NHNN) in Queen Square and University College Hospital, with broad diagnostic expertise imaging the adult brain and spine using CT and MRI, and regularly undertakes nerve root and facet joint injections. He is a lecturer on the MSc in Advanced Neuroimaging at University College London and has received awards from the Wellcome Trust, the Paris School of Neurosciences and the Italian Society of Neuroradiology for his research on the brain's connectivity. His research has been cited nearly 5,000 times across numerous peer-reviewed publications and three book chapters. Dr Carletti accepts both self-pay and insured patients.
